Notes: A red plum that matures
during the last half of the Friar season. It is firm, juicy, 18-21
brix, globose and flattened in shape, and golden yellow in flesh
color. The size has shown to be very large on peach root, but
struggled during the severe California heat of 2006 with weak
shoulder colour and some internal heat damage. This variety stores
very well in the cold room. Again, the blossom produces an
abundance of pollen and is very enticing to bees, making the variety
easy to set using one or more of the above pollinators. It is an
excellent pollinator for September Candy and several other
varieties.
