Production:  Candy Beaut sets on spurs that have to be established with age.  When the tree is young, it tends to set on the tips, so post harvest summer pruning is recommended to force fruiting spurs.	Pollinators:  Candy Gem, Gandy Giant or September Candy

Notes:  A purple plum that ripens in the Black Beaut time slot with excellent attributes, including flavour, firmness, shape, crack resistance, and large size (even better than we thought).  The blossom produces an abundance of pollen and is very enticing to bees, but the variety sets better on spurs which take time to establish.
